    In this workshop you will be exploring beyond the familiar and digging into the allotment and the herb patch for our baking inspiration. The workshop is run by Christine Iverson our infamous baker, and Maggie Haynes, Tuppenny’s founder and CEO. Together you will make a variety of bakes to inspire you to get grubby and grow your own cakes followed by sampling of your efforts. Includes homemade refreshments, bakes and handouts.

    Tuppenny Explorers Club : Sumptuous Seeds

    Tuppenny Explorers is our after school club aimed at 4 – 11year olds. The fun afternoon sessions run once a month on a Monday at 3:45pm. Early in the year is the best time to choose seeds for plants for seasonal sowing. This month children will be learning about what can be started off by seed, and planting up their own pots to take away.

    Children's Holiday Activity: Sumptuous Spring

    A fun activity morning for half-term – Take home a beautiful homemade Easter Garden.

    Led by Tuppenny Barn’s Education Officer Abi, children will be exploring the joys of spring and creating Easter gardens out of natural and recycled materials. We will also be cooking some seasonal treats.

    Recommended for ages 3-7. Younger children will need to be accompanied by an adult.

    Children will need to bring indoor and outdoor clothing/footwear for all weathers.

We will be looking at planting, growing and creating some natural spring artwork. We will also be keeping our taste buds happy by cooking with foraged ingredients.
